* Nathan James killed in Oakland near 11th and Willow streets

Police have identified a man who was fatally shot in West Oakland last Friday afternoon as 20-year-old Nathan James, Jr. James was fatally shot and another person was injured around noon when someone opened fire near 11th and Willow streets — the first in a series of shootings, police said. About three hours later last Friday afternoon, two victims were injured in a shooting in the 1400 block of Seminary Avenue, police said.

The victims transported themselves to a hospital. Around 3 a.m. last Saturday morning a victim was fatally shot during a carjacking, police said. Last Saturday night around 11:40 p.m., Raymond Greenwood, 20, and Joshua Crouseite, 22, were fatally shot in the 1300 block of MacArthur Boulevard, according to police.
