* South San Francisco storage unit burglary on Spruce Avenue

Police are still trying to identify a burglar who broke into a South San Francisco storage unit and stole designer clothes and electronics last week, police said. The burglary occurred in the 100 block of Spruce Avenue sometime between 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 9 and 11 a.m. the next day. Someone cut locks and took nearly $12,000 in property, including Louis Vuitton bags, a Ralph Lauren suitcase and women’s clothing from Juicy Couture and L.A.M.B. An Apple MacBook Pro laptop was also taken, police said.
