An 18-year-old man died late Monday night after a shooting was reported just hours earlier in San Jose, a police spokesman said. The man died from his gunshot injuries while being treated at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center after the shooting was reported at 8:56 p.m. in the 1700 block of Ross Circle, San Jose police Officer Jose Garcia said.

Officers found the 18-year-old suffering from at least one gunshot wound before he was taken to the hospital where he later died sometime before midnight, according to Garcia. Further details about the shooting are expected to be released later this morning, Garcia said.
