A man who charged at a police officer last year while wielding a knife was sentenced to five years in prison on Thursday. This video truly shows what a “RAPIDLY EVOLVING SITUATION” really is. Officer Krakow of Wisconsin Rapids police was responding to a disturbance in August 2010 when he encountered a suspect who refused to drop his weapon. In the video of the incident, Krakow is seen confronting then-16-year-old Pao Khang. Loudly and clearly, Krakow gives his orders. “Get on the ground. Drop the knife,” he says. He is heard repeating the command several times. Khang was sentenced to 5 years in jail and is not eligible for early release.
