San Jose police detectives have identified Eric Kenzo Otokawa and Kristina Lynn Pandula as the murder victims from the double homicide.

Original Press Release 10/8/11
On 10/08/2011, at approximately 11:02 A.M., San Jose Police Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of South Third Street on a report of a shooting.  Upon their arrival, officers located two shooting victims.  A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  A female victim was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.  The female victim remains hospitalized.

The motive behind the shootings has not yet been established.  The suspect(s) remain at-large and are considered armed and dangerous.

This incident marks San Jose’s 33rd and 34th homicides of 2011.
