A man who was injured in a robbery in Oakland earlier this month died this morning, and police say they have launched an investigation. Brian Little, a 38-year-old Tracy resident, flagged down police on Sept. 21 just after midnight on the 800 block of International Boulevard, telling officers he had been robbed, police Officer Johnna Watson said.

Little was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, and while there he suffered a heart attack that left him in critical condition. This morning at 9:15 a.m. the Alameda County Coroner’s Office contacted police that Little had died. An autopsy will determine the cause of death. The Major Crimes Section is taking over the investigation into Little’s death.
