San Jose Police Asking for Help to Identify Alleged 7-Eleven Store Robbery Suspect

The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in these photos. According to Detective Brian Meeker, on August 15th, 2011 at approximately 4:10 AM , This suspect entered the 7-Eleven store at 4270 Senter Road with a pipe and approached the counter. The suspect allegedly told the clerk, “I’m going to rob you,” as he ordered the victim to open the register and give him money.
The suspect then came around the counter and allegedly used the pipe to hit the victim on the head. The victim sustained a laceration to the top of his head as he struggled with the suspect. During the struggle, the victim took the pipe from the suspect and used it to defend himself. As the suspect ran out of the store he allegedly grabbed merchandise and fled out the door of the store.
