* Oakland shootings on 55th Avenue and 94th Avenue

Two shootings were reported in East Oakland on Sunday evening, but both victims are expected to survive, police said. The first shooting happened just before 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of 55th Avenue. The victim suffered superficial injuries and was not taken to a hospital, police said.

The second shooting was happened a few minutes later in the 2500 block of 94th Avenue. The victim transported himself to the hospital after the shooting and is in stable condition, according to police. No arrests were made in either shooting.
