* Marcos Moralez Registered Sex Offender Arrested for Parole Violation in Milpitas

Milpitas police arrested a registered sex offender who was wanted for a parole violation Thursday night, police said. Officers responded to the Save Mart Shopping Center in the 200 block of West Calaveras Boulevard on reports of a man who was panhandling and harassing customers, according to police.
Responding officers identified 39-year-old transient Marcos Moralez and after a record check they determined that he was wanted by the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for a parole violation, police said. Moralez was booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
