An underage girl escaped a kidnapping attempt in South San Francisco this morning, police said. The girl was walking in the 700 block of Camaritas Avenue, when a man in his 20s grabbed her arm and tried to pull her away at around 8:45 a.m., according to South San Francisco police.
The girl was able to free herself and ran to a nearby school, police said. She was not injured. The suspect was last seen walking in the 800 block of Alta Loma Avenue. He was described as a black man with a medium build between 5 feet and 5 feet 5 inches tall, with brown and black hair worn in shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a red and orange baseball cap the letter “T” on the front, a blue-green short-sleeve shirt, dark blue pants and red Nike Air Jordan shoes.
He has two stud piercings on the right side of his neck, and a barbell piercing on the upper portion of his left ear, police said.
