* Chris Cantrell and Richard Killin Arrested for Alleged Office Depot Robbery

On Friday, September 9, 2011, at approximately 9:30 p.m., suspect Chris Cantrell entered the Office Depot (3500 block of Hollis St, Oakland) wearing a face mask and armed with a gun, to rob the employees and the business. Both Oakland PD and Emeryville PD responded to the scene. All of the employees were able to escape from the store un-harmed.
The investigation revealed surveillance video of store employee Richard Killin assisting in the robbery. Police recovered the gun used by Cantrell during the robbery and discovered it was a replica firearm.
Both suspects have been arrested and charged by the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office with robbery.
Both suspect Cantrell (50 years old) and suspect Killin (25 years old) are Oakland residents.
