Gilroy police are searching for two suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint while he was sitting in his car Friday morning, police said. Officers responded to 7700 Arroyo Circle after receiving a report of a shooting around 10 a.m., Gilroy police said.
After arriving, police determined that no shots had been fired, but that two men had robbed another man in the parking lot, police said. Two armed suspects approached the man, who was sitting in his car, and demanded money.
After taking the cash, the men fled on foot south along Camino Arroyo, police said. The victim was not injured during the robbery. Witnesses described the suspects as two Hispanic men in their 30s, wearing dark jackets and masks. Both were armed, police said.
