A 28-year-old Antioch man was arrested in Milpitas over the weekend on suspicion of possessing stolen property after he accidentally shot himself in the leg with a stolen gun, police said. Officers responded around 2:05 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 400 block of Dixon Landing Road.

They arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to his right leg. It was initially reported that an unknown gunman had shot the man, but officers found out the man accidentally shot himself, police said.
