* Conrado Lopez Being Sought By Modesto Police For Alleged Murder

Modesto Police detectives are investigating a double-shooting that left one person dead and a second in serious, but stable condition. Investigators have identified an estrange husband as the alleged suspect responsible for this shooting.
On July 31st, at about 8:43 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 7th Street and B Street in central Modesto for a reported shooting. When officers arrived they located two vehicles, each containing a shooting victim. A female victim was found in one car and she sustained non-life threatening injuries, while a second male victim was found in another car and he sustained fatal injuries. Investigators have learned Conrado Lopez a 32-year-old Modesto resident, who is the estranged husband of the female victim, is allegedly responsible for the shooting.
The investigation has revealed, the male and female victims were in separate vehicles and were following one another. At the time of the shooting they were stopped at the intersection at 7th and B Street. Lopez drove up to the victims and began to shoot into each vehicle. Both victims received at least one gunshot wound. Lopez then fled in his white Chevy Silverado truck. Lopez is currently wanted for alleged homicide and attempted homicide. He is considered armed and dangerous. Lopez was last seen driving a white 2001 Chevy Silverado extended cab truck License plate 6N26553.
