* Vacaville Police Arrest 3 Teens For Allegedly Robbing and Slashing Woman in August

Three teens were arrested by police Thursday in connection with the purse snatching and slashing of a 52-year-old Vacaville woman last week, police said. Anthony Charles, 18, of Vallejo, and two male juveniles, 16 and 17, also from Vallejo, were taken into custody on suspicion of committing the Aug. 31 attack in Vacaville’s Browns Valley neighborhood.
The names of the juveniles have not been released because of their age. Police said that detectives believe that Charles and the two juveniles may also be responsible for a burglary that occurred later that day in Vacaville. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact police at (707) 449-5200 or Detective Otha Livingston at (707)449-5270.
