Police are searching for a missing elderly Fairfield woman who is considered at-risk, police said. Ruth “Armstrong” Morris, 75, was last seen at her home in the 700 block of Cypress Circle this morning at around 10 a.m., according to Fairfield police. Morris suffers from dementia and police said she may have walked away from her home.
Authorities do not believe she has cash but may have access to a bus. She does not have local acquaintances but she has family in Richmond, police said. Morris was described as a black woman with short gray hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white pajama bottoms, and an off-white colored shirt, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 911.
