BART and San Francisco police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing a passenger at the Balboa Park station this morning, a BART spokesman said. Officers arrested Wilfred Brown, 35, hours after he allegedly stabbed a rider entering the station around 6:10 a.m., BART spokesman Jim Allison and San Francisco fire officials said. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, and Allison said he did not have an update on the victim’s condition. Brown, a transient, apparently stabbed the victim in an unprovoked attack, Allison said.
