Monterey County sheriff’s deputies arrested three people after finding illegal drugs during a probation search at a San Ardo home Sunday morning. Deputies arrived at 62390 Cattlemen Road to conduct a probation search around 8:45 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office. After announcing themselves several times, the deputies entered the home through a door that was propped open. Trinidad Chavez, 59, was found inside one of the bedrooms and deputies forced open a door to a different bedroom after Flor Osorio, 32, refused to answer, deputies said. Chavez and Osorio told deputies there was no one else inside the home.
After checking the bedroom, deputies found Noemi Mansfield, 57, hiding inside a kitchen cabinet with approximately 70 bindles of methamphetamine, 28 grams of methamphetamine in a plastic bag and 40 bindles of marijuana, according to the sheriff’s office. Ammunition was also found in the cabinet and a .22 caliber rifle was located in the kitchen, deputies said. After searching the home, deputies found other bindles of methamphetamine and marijuana. Chavez, Osorio and Mansfield were arrested and investigators confiscated the illegal drugs.
