A man was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Mission District late Tuesday night, police said today. The shooting was reported at 11:29 p.m. in the 800 block of Hampshire Street. The victim, identified by the medical examiner’s office as 29-year-old Edson Lacayo, was found suffering from three gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Two suspects were seen running away from the scene of the shooting, but no information about them was immediately available, police said.
