Published by on August 14, 2011

A 26-year-old King City man was arrested by officers from multiple law enforcement agencies this morning for allegedly having outstanding warrants and narcotics violations and for attempting to flee. Monterey County sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers arrested David Godoy Salazar in the town of San Lucas. At about 11:45 a.m., they made a perimeter around a home, but before they could contact Salazar, the suspect was seen jumping over a fence and running. Following a foot chase, a CHP officer tased Salazar. Crystal methamphetamine and cocaine were allegedly located in Salazar’s pockets. He was booked into Monterey County jail.
