* Sand City Police Asking for Public’s Help to Identify Alleged Bank Robber

The Sand City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this surveillance photo. Officer Michael Mount reports that on July 18th, 2011, at about 3:30 PM, this suspect walked into the Save Mart Grocery store and approached the Bank of America teller inside the store. He then allegedly told the teller “I’m sorry to do this” and then robbed the bank. This man is also suspected of robbing the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust in Monterey.
