The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this photo. According to Detective Mike Morarity, on July 14, 2011, at about 12:20 PM, this female suspect entered a check cashing business located in Windsor. The suspect allegedly presented a “Walden House” counterfeit check to the teller and requested the check be processed. The suspect presented a counterfeit California driver’s license with a stolen identity. Fortunately, the clerk became suspicious of the transaction and notified the Windsor Police Department. The suspect fled the area prior to the arrival of officers.
