* Arson Suspected in Bayview Car Fire

San Francisco police are investigating a suspected arson case in which a vehicle was set on fire in the city’s Bayview District on Tuesday night. Officers responded at about 9 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a car burning in the 2400 block of Griffith Street. The suspect, believed to be a female, fled before the officers arrived and has not been found, according to police. The fire was extinguished and no one was hurt, police said.
