The shooting was reported at about 2:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Blanken Avenue, several blocks from the Bayshore Caltrain station in the city’s Little Hollywood neighborhood. Officers responded to find that numerous cars had been hit by the gunfire, which also pierced plate-glass windows in two homes a block apart, according to police. No one was injured in the shooting. Police recovered .45-caliber shell casings in the area, but do not have any information about the shooter.
