* Amber Alert Issued for Jeremy Guthrie

An Amber Alert has been issued today in San Luis Obispo County for a 4-year-old who is thought to have been abducted by a woman in the homeless shelter where he was staying. Jeremy Guthrie was staying at the Echo Shelter in the city of Atascadero with his mother Thursday night when his mother had a fight with another resident at the shelter. Around 4:30 a.m. today, the other resident is believed to have abducted Jeremy and fled the shelter, according to authorities.
The suspect, Annette Hale, is described as a 52-year-old Hispanic woman with brown hair and eyes who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. She is wearing glasses in a photo released by police and was last seen wearing a white tank top with her hair in a bun. Jeremy is a white boy with brown hair and brown eyes who is 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 33 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt and blue underwear, and was carrying a Spiderman blanket. There is no known vehicle associated with Hale and her and Jeremy’s whereabouts are unknown.
