A teenager was shot in the back in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Saturday night but is expected to survive, police said. Officers responded to a report of five or six shots fired near the intersection of Third Street and Newcomb Avenue at 10:07 p.m. Police arrived to find the 18-year-old victim, who had been shot once. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, according to police. No arrests have been made in the case.
