San Jose Police Homicide Detectives have arrested Juan Carlos Reyes Cortez, Edwin Oliva and Francisco Pulido Garcia as suspects in the May 28th homicide of Vincent Tran Le.  All three suspects have been charged with murder by the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.

The investigation has revealed that on Saturday, May 28th, 2011, at approximately 3:58 AM, San Jose police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1700 Block of Schulte Drive.  Upon their arrival at the scene, they located the victim with several stab wounds.  The victim was transported to Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Detectives believe the stabbing came as a result of an altercation between two rival gangs.  According to witnesses, the parties involved in the altercation exchanged gang-related slogans and hand gestures just prior to the fight.  It is believed that the victim is affiliated with one of the gangs.  During the course of their investigation, Detectives developed information implicating the above suspects in the homicide.
