Benicia police have released a photo of the suspect in the armed robbery of the Wells Fargo bank on Friday evening. The suspect entered the bank inside the Raley’s supermarket at 890 Southampton Road around 7 p.m., Lt. Mike Daley said. He made threats while displaying a handgun and ran off with cash, police said. The black male suspect is 25 to 30 years old, of short to medium height and has a goatee, Daley said. It was the third bank robbery in Benicia this year, and the same bank was robbed on March 15, Daley said.
