* San Francisco’s Hunters Point shooting at Hudson Avenue and Bertha Lane

A man was shot in the buttocks while working on his car in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood late Wednesday night, police said. The shooting was reported at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Bertha Lane. The 52-year-old victim was working on his vehicle when he heard five or six shots and realized he had been struck, according to police. He was taken by a friend to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
