Morgan Hill police have arrested two people in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store last week. Immanuel Sadler, 21, and a 17-year-old male, were arrested Friday on suspicion of robbing the Quick Stop store at 215 W. Main St. on the night of June 27, according to police. Police said Sadler and the teen entered the store wearing ski masks and gloves.
One of them allegedly pointed a silver revolver at the 38-year-old clerk and demanded money as the other suspect went behind the counter and emptied the contents of the register into a bag. The armed suspect pointed the gun at a 19-year-old customer’s head and took his money.
A second 35-year-old clerk came out of a back room and was held at gunpoint, and the suspects ran away, according to police. Police said the entire incident was caught on a surveillance tape that detectives reviewed. Both are residents of Morgan Hill, police said. The robbery is still under investigation.
