* One Injured in San Jose Shooting

Police in San Jose are investigating a shooting that took place in the city on Saturday night. Officers went to the 3200 block of Loma Verde Drive after shots were fired in the neiborhood at about 9:40 p.m., San Jose police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said. Arriving officers found one male victim who had been shot several times, Dwyer said. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Dwyer said. As of Sunday, he was expected to survive his injuries. Police are still investigating a motive for the crime. It has not been determined if the shooting was gang related.
