Officers are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery at a store in Morgan Hill Monday night, police said. Two males entered the Quick Stop store at 215 W. Main St. shortly before 10:30 p.m. One of the suspects pointed a silver revolver at the 38-year-old clerk and demanded money as the other suspect went behind the counter and emptied the contents of the register into a bag, police said. The armed suspect pointed the gun at a 19-year-old customer’s head and took his money. A second clerk came out of a back room and was held at gunpoint and the suspects ran away, according to police.
Police said the entire incident was caught on a surveillance tape that detectives are reviewing. The armed suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, who weighs 230 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, who weighs 160 pounds. He was also wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans, police said.
