* Teen Shot in Leg in Bayview District

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg in San Francisco’s Bayview District early this morning, police said. The shooting was reported at about 12:20 a.m. in the 1500 block of Oakdale Avenue. The victim was standing outside when he was shot once in the thigh, according to police. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for the wound, which was not considered life-threatening, police said. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
