* San Jose Kidnapping and Robbery on Story Road Identification Needed

ID #11-195

The San Jose Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking to identify a suspect responsible for a kidnapping and robbery which occurred earlier this year.  On Thursday, May 19th of this year, the suspects kidnapped the victim in the 700 Block of Story Road in San Jose and drove her to a different location where they forced her to withdraw money from a bank.

Preliminary investigation into the robbery revealed that two hispanic males approached the elderly female victim in the WalMart parking lot.  The suspects forced the victim into their vehicle and drove her to a nearby Wells Fargo Bank.  The suspects forced the victim to withdraw money from her account.  The victim complied with the suspects’ demands out of fear for her life.  The suspects then threatened to kill the victim if she contacted the police, and released her.  Out of fear for her safety, the victim did not immediately call the police.

San Jose Police Detectives believe that the suspects are involved in a similar incident that occurred in North Las Vegas on May 25th of this year.
