One person was hurt in a shooting in East Oakland on Sunday night that occurred about an hour after a brawl in another part of the city that left three people injured, police said. Police found the shooting victim after responding to the 900 block of 72nd Avenue just after 11:30 p.m., Officer Kevin McDonald said. The victim was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition, he said. No arrests have been made in the case. An hour earlier, police had responded to a large fight in the 1500 block of 13th Avenue, where they found two men injured, Officer J. Moore said. One had been shot and the other had been hit with a baseball bat,  Moore said. The two men were taken to the hospital in stable condition, he said. A short time later, Oakland police were notified that a man suffering from a stab wound had arrived at the hospital, Moore said. Witnesses identified the stabbing victim as the person who had been armed with the baseball bat during the fight, he said. Oakland police took the man into custody, but are still searching for another suspect who had the gun during the fight.
