* Ruben Zuniga was Arrested After He Allegedly was in Possession of Meth and Digital Scales in Salinas

A Salinas man was arrested Thursday when officers conducting a parole search allegedly found him in possession of methamphetamine and digital scales, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said. Ruben Zuniga, 30, was arrested at about 2:30 p.m. at his home at 1111 Cheshire Way, police said. He was booked into the Monterey County Jail on suspicion of parole violation and possession of methamphetamine for sale.
