ARRESTED
The San Rafael Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in these photos. According to Detective Scott Eberly, on May 27th, 2011, a white or Hispanic male entered the Subway Restaurant located on Bellam Blvd in San Rafael. The suspect placed a sandwich order and when the cashier was about to ring him up, the suspect took out a handgun and ordered the cashier to give him all the money from the cash register.
The suspect then fled out the front door. The suspect is described as being approximately 5′ 10″, 175 pounds and has brown or black hair that was slicked back and cut short on the sides. The suspect also has a light mustache and goatee and no visible tattoos were seen. He was wearing a blue collared button up shirt, white undershirt and dark colored pants or jeans and was chewing on a toothpick during the entire robbery.
