A man was fatally shot in San Jose Wednesday night and officers are searching for suspects, police said. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at Checkers and Schulte drives shortly before 11 p.m. They arrived to find one man in the street suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a hospital and succumbed to his injuries at 11:24 p.m., police said. Suspects have not been identified and additional information regarding the incident was not immediately available, according to police. This incident is the city’s 20th homicide of this year, police said.
