Morgan Hill police are looking for a man they say led a pair of detectives on a high-speed pursuit on Saturday before dumping the car in San Jose and fleeing. Around 5:40 p.m. on Saturday, two detectives saw a green Honda Civic on Cochrane Road at U.S. Highway 101 and tried to stop the car for several vehicle code violations, police said. They found that the driver of the car was a 40-year-old parolee named Samuel Dolida, of Morgan Hill.

Dolida allegedly led the detectives on a pursuit on northbound Highway 101 that reached speeds up to 85 mph, according to police. During the pursuit, Dolida weaved in and out of traffic and disposed items from the car. He took the Hellyer Avenue exit in San Jose and continued the pursuit through city streets, at one point side-swiping another car while making a turn, police said. The detectives ended the pursuit, but later located the abandoned Honda Civic at 4487 Concerto Drive.

A woman identified as Krissy Loa, 29, of Morgan Hill, was inside the car and was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Police dogs searched the area but were unable to find Dolida. He remains at-large. Police are investigating the case and ask anyone with information to call Detectives Scott Purvis or Mario Ramirez at (408) 779-2101.
