Officers are looking for a suspect in a shooting incident that occurred in a parking lot in Livermore Saturday night, police said. Officers responded to the parking lot in front of an AM/PM Mini Mart at 785 E. Stanley Blvd. at around 11:20 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired, police said. Officers spoke to about 25 witnesses who told police that two men had argued in the parking lot and one man pulled a handgun out of his truck and fired it at the victim, police said.
Surveillance footage confirmed that the suspect appeared to be shooting at the victim. Both the victim and suspect fled the area and it was not known if the victim was injured during the incident, police said. The suspect was described as either a white or Hispanic man, between 18 and 20 years old, and between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a small red Mazda or Ford pickup truck with an extra cab, police said.
