* Berkeley Police Reopen Streets After Man Barricades Self in Home

Police have reopened streets in a Berkeley neighborhood after earlier closures prompted by a man who barricaded himself in a home early this morning, a police dispatcher said. The suspect was barricaded in the area of Parker and Acton streets, police Sgt. Mary Kusmiss said. The incident began at about 7 a.m. and streets were reopened later this morning.
