* Palo Alto Police Need to Identify Suspects Allegedly Committing Credit Card Fraud

The Palo Alto Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the men is these photos. According to Detective Christine Jolin, on April 8, 2011 these suspects entered Louis Vuitton store and made several purchases using a stolen credit card number. The victim, who lives in Houston, Texas, saw the activity on his card and called the store. The store manager was able to recover all of the merchandise both suspects purchased ($7,000 worth). The suspects provided the names “Ivan Cortez” and “Alfredo Duran” and had identification cards to match. When the store manager took the items from the suspects, they turned and walked out of the store without confrontation.
