* Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Deputies Trying to Identify Alleged Saratoga Bank Robber

ID #11-142 Saratoga Bank Robbery

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in these photos. Detective Alfredo Alanis reports that on May 10th 2011, at about 5:00 pm, this suspect allegedly robbed the US Bank on Big Basin Way, Saratoga.

Witness report the suspect was wearing a sling on his left arm. He approached the teller and put his right hand into the sling and told the victim teller that this was a robbery and that he had a gun. Before he left the bank, he apologized,
telling the teller that his son really needs shoes. The suspect was last seen leaving the bank in a newer Silver Lexus. He is believed to be same suspect involved in a separate Saratoga Bank robbery on April 22nd, 2011 and a Portola Valley bank robbery.
