* Oakland Police Searching For Two Men of Interest in 2009 Auto Zone Shooting


Oakland police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men of interest in a 2009 shooting. Officers responded to the Auto Zone at 10111 International Blvd. at around 7 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2009, and found 59-year-old Bounhom Manyvong, who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police are searching for two men who they believe have information regarding the shooting. The first is described as a black man in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a green fur-lined jacket, white T-shirt and blue jeans. The other man of interest was described as a black man, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, according to police.
