Police in Santa Cruz are asking people to be on the lookout for a black Cadillac sedan that was involved in a possible abduction today. The kidnapping involved a Hispanic woman in her 20s who has a slender build and dark, wavy hair. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who is 6 feet tall and weighs 235 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was wearing a baggy white T-shirt and a baseball cap, police said.

The vehicle has a California license plate of 5VIC952 and tinted windows. The woman jumped out of the vehicle at the intersection of North Pacific Avenue and Water Street and screamed for someone to call 911, but the suspect exited the vehicle, grabbed the woman and pulled her back into the car. The victim, who was wearing a tan bra and dark colored pants at the time of the kidnapping, apparently lost her shirt at the intersection, according to police.
