* James Hudson identified as man killed in San Francisco hit-and-run

A pedestrian killed early this morning in a hit-and-run in San Francisco’s North of Panhandle neighborhood has been identified by the San Francisco medical examiner’s office as James Hudson.Hudson, 61, of San Francisco, was struck at about 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Masonic Avenue, between Golden Gate Avenue and Turk Boulevard, police said.He died at the scene.A 23-year-old man, Jose Jimenez, was arrested for allegedly hitting Hudson and four vehicles in the area, police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said. Jimenez was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries. He was expected to be charged later today with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence, Dangerfield said.
