Three men were arrested after a traffic stop and search of their car yielded two loaded firearms in Salinas Thursday evening, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Gang task force officers stopped the suspects’ car near Central and Homestead Avenues at about 7:30 p.m., deputies said. The officers then searched the car and found two loaded revolvers, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspects were arrested and taken to jail on several weapons-related charges. Two of the men were on probation and another was on parole, deputies said. Two of the men had numerous tattoos depicting gang affiliations, according to the sheriff’s office. The men are Robert Glaze, 24; Dexter Barnett, 38; and Calvin Dowdle, 31, deputies said.
