Gov. Jerry Brown has canceled a $356 million plan to build new housing for death row inmates at San Quentin State Prison. “At a time when children, the disabled and seniors face painful cuts to essential programs, the state of California cannot justify a massive expenditure of public dollars for the worst criminals in our state,” Brown said in a statement.

  • I’m glad Govenor made this decision. Its about time someone isn’t supporting all the lobbyists and special interest groups and finally trying to change the state and bring it back to glory
