A motorist was robbed Wednesday evening while using a drive-up ATM at a Bank of America in downtown San Rafael, police said.The victim was using an ATM in the rear of the bank, located at 1000 Fourth St., when a man approached the car and demanded money around 7:20 p.m., Officer J. Graham said.The man took cash and ran toward Court Street, Graham said.
The bank customer was not injured.The suspect is a white male in his late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall with an average build, Graham said.He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, Graham said.Anyone with information is asked to call San Rafael police at (415) 485-3000 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
