Police today identified a man suspected of fatally shooting another man inside a San Jose home on Sunday morning as 22-year-old Mario Jesus Hernandez. The shooting was reported at about 6 a.m. at a home in the 1500 block of South Capitol Avenue, police said. Officers arrived and found a 25-year-old man dead inside the home. The man’s identity has yet to be released by police. Investigators have identified Hernandez, a San Jose resident, as the suspect who allegedly entered the home, shot the victim, and fled before police arrived. Police said Hernandez was somehow associated with the residence, but the exact nature of the relationship between him and the victim remains under investigation. A no-bail warrant has been issued for Hernandez’s arrest on suspicion of murder. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
